After leaving home, Carly made some poor choices and suffered through an abusive relationship that tarnished her and made her stronger. She moved to the small town of Holiday Cove to rebuild her life and never allow anyone to hurt her again.Carly gets a call from her father and he wants Carly to watch over her sister for the summer. Carly's sister is now 17 and pretty wild and although Carly doesn't want to mess with her sisters issues, she eventually allows her to come stay. Carly's shop held it all.....coffee, delicious desserts and her. Alesha, the sister was sent for the summer again. Nick just took a job at the air museum. Nick was bowled over. Alesha was a flirt. Carly was confused. Put this all together and you have nothing but fun. Enjoy!
The title boggled my mind . . . This has nothing with burn, fire, or elite. With that said, this is 50% an angst-ridden teenage drama, 25% angst-ridden early adult drama, and 25% sexy time. And odd mix but a good travel day read.
Overall, ok will read more from this author. Strong 3.5 stars
Nick moves to Work with Aaron Rosen in the Air Museum restoring a plane, it's a 3 month contract. Aaron takes him into the local shop that Carly owns, known for her amazing food & coffee, one look and Nick is interested. Carly has so much on her plate and in her past, her 17 year old sister was sent to live with her for the summer, so between trying to keep her towing the line, and things from her past hidden, she doesn't feel she can get involved with anyone. There is an attraction, but can she trust, let go, feel, live, love, another? Great story.
Nick and Carly meet at her coffee shop over coffee. She's scared of commitment. He wants her. Can he melt the ice from her heart? Can he break down the walls? Stay tuned! Must Read! Awesome author!

I loved this book. It was a romantic story with a good story line that was well written and believable.
The live scenes were well written and did not overwhelm The storyline.
